Directions to Villa Toscana from Auckland

Get Directions on Google Maps

Take the Southern Motorway (SH1) heading towards Hamilton. Follow the motorway through the southern suburbs of Auckland and then up and over the hill at Bombay. Continue down the hill staying in the left hand lane and take the Coromandel Peninsula exit towards the bottom of the hill.

Follow this road for approximately 45 minutes and then take the Thames/Coromandel Peninsula exit. Continue on this road until you cross the Waihou River (passing New Zealand's historic and longest one-lane bridge at Kopu).

At the roundabout take the 3rd exit and then just under 1km take the first exit onto SH25A with the sign pointing to Whitianga. At this point you're still 90km from Villa Toscana but this is the most beautiful part of the journey through the Coromandel Ranges, native bush and scenic views. If it is raining be extra careful through the hills.

Drive through Tairua and continue until you arrive in Whitianga. At this point you are only 10 minutes away from us. At the main round-about continue straight through and follow the road to the T-intersection where you'll arrive at Buffalo Beach Road.

Turn left at the beach and follow the road along the bay for about 2km and just before the road starts to climb the hill, turn left into Centennial Drive. Follow this road all the way to the top of the hill and then turn left into Rimu Street and continue through Ohuka Park.

Continue driving through the park for about 1km and then turn right onto the private driveway at the little yellow Villa Toscana sign.

Continue until you arrive at your parking spot and... the view!
